We recently had the pleasure of working within the grounds of the St Hilda’s Church and Holy Well, Hinderwell, Whitby.
A health and safety survey had highlighted several trees that were potentially hazardous, so, on a beautiful day work commenced.
Thankfully, we were able to retain the vast majority of the trees with appropriate pruning. We carefully removed all significant deadwood overhanging the road and footpaths. In addition, we successfully reduced an Elm tree with a large cavity in the trunk, increasing the trees stability. Unfortunately, two trees were deemed unsafe and had to be removed.
